Hi! Thanks for coming to my website. I’m a Chicago-based food writer and editor (and I've also worked in music journalism). Most recently, I was the food & kitchen staff writer at VICE’s shopping page, Rec Room, and I contribute to publications like Chicago Magazine and Eater. At VICE, I created and curated Rec Room's cookbook franchise, “Flavor Zone," covered shopping deals and releases, and talked about food with people like T-Pain, Wilco’s Jeff Tweedy, Sammy Hagar, Eric Wareheim, Katie Parla, Jing Gao (of Fly By Jing), and The Sporkful podcaster Dan Pashman. Before moving to Chicago, I was the staff writer at Sauce Magazine, St. Louis’ primary independent food magazine, for four years. Beyond food, I used to write album reviews for Apple Music and was a staff writer at Tiny Mix Tapes.
